Winter Workouts

As we near the year's end and "baby, it's cold outside"...think Spring!!

We are excited to announce that Josh Fishel, Spring Grove High School, Baseball JV Coach has joined our board as VP of Player Development. He will be heading up the Winter Workouts and working with coaches to better develop our players. Coach Fishel is very involved in the youth baseball community here in Spring Grove, combined with his extensive baseball experience, he will be a great asset to our organization.

Winter Workouts schedule as follows:

January 7th, 17th, 23rd,& 28th

Time: 6-7pm for 8U

      7-8pm for 10U & 12U

      8-9pm for 14U & 16U

Location: Tech Center on the Spring Grove Area School campus. First building on the right coming in from the Roth's Church Rd. entrance. The gym is in the back entrance of the building. (AKA...the old middle school, or the pizza hut building...)

As we move into February, we will assign one night a week for each age group (as broken down above) We have the following dates reserved at the Tech Center gym:

2/4, 2/6, 2/7, 2/11, 2/13, 2/14, 2/20, 2/21, 2/25, 2/27, & 2/28. The days are generally Mon, Wed, Thurs. so an example would be if your child is in 8U they would be practicing one of those nights per week, but the time will be extended to a 2 hour practice or perhaps 3 hours for the older boys.

Definitive February details will be sent out in January once we meet with coaches and parents of what night would work best for each age group.

If you are interested in coaching this season, please plan to attend workouts and help out! If you are new to NCBA and would like to coach (assistant or manage) we need your clearances. Clearance information and links can be found on our site under "About Us", click on "Coaches Information".

All players must be registered for the spring season to attend the Winter Workouts. You can register online to pay by credit card or in person at the Winter Workout events to pay by check or cash.

Wishing you all a very happy and joyous holiday season!
